Tour Day by Day

Day 1

Delhi

Arrival in Delhi International Airport, meet and greet with our representative. Then transfer to a hotel. Rest of the time is free. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2

Delhi tour

After having breakfast, go to visit Qutab Minar, symbol of victory attached to the Quwwatu’l – Islam mosque for the use of the muadhdhin (crier) to call the people to pray, built by Qutbu’d-Din Aibak in the beginning of the 13th century. Afternoon visit The Red Fort, Jama Masjid and old Delhi. The Red fort, which is made of red sandstone, was built by Shah Jahan in 1638 and completed in 1648. But he never completely settled in this fort. Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India and Shah Jahan’s final architectural extravagance. Begun in 1644, the mosque was not completed until 1658. Old Delhi is the city initially named as Sahahahanbad after a name of Saha Jahan who initiated to build this city. Later his son changed the capital from Agra and installed in this city. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3

Delhi – Agra via Mathura

Early in the morning, en route to Agra. On the way, we stop to visit Sikandara, the tomb of Akbar and the Baby Taj constructed by Nur Jahan. Then move to Mathura Brindavana, a site renown as the birthplace of Lord Krishna according to the Hindu mythology. We visit Prem Mandir and other temples related to Krishna. After we forward to Agra. Rest of time is for leisure. Overnight at a hotel in Agra.
Day 4

Agra

After breakfast we go to visit Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, that was constructed by Shah Jahan for the tomb of his beloved wife Mamutaj Mahal in 1632. It was completed in 1653. Afternoon we visit Agra fort. Agra Fort was originally started by Akbar in 16th century and then continued by his successors. At the end of the day we visit the workshop of inlay art in marble. Overnight in Agra.
Day 5

Agra – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Today we go to Jaipur by road. On the way we stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri. The city that was created by Akbar in 1569, also named as city of victory by Akbar after his triumphs. This city stands as a witness of Akbar’s splendid efforts to achieve a synthesis between Hindu and Muslim cultures. After a visit of this site we continue en route to Jaipur. Once arrived in Jaipur, check in at the hotel and free time or visit Jaipur’s markets. Overnight at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 6

Jaipur

After breakfast, we visit Amber Fort, originally constructed by Bharmal in 1558 and his successor Man Singh, used it as a palace before the birth of Jaipur. At that time Amber was the capital city of Kachhawaha. Then we come back to Jaipur to visit Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and City Palace. The symbol of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal (the palace of wind), was constructed by the poet king Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 for the royal ladies to enjoy the procession and day to day activities. The palace was built from the pink sand stone comprising 953 niches and 152 windows. Jantar Mantar is the open-air astronomical observatory built by the astronomer king Jai Singh II in 1728. City Palace complex is located in the heart of Jaipur, occupying about one seventh of the old city which is divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and other buildings. Evening dinner with Kalbelia dance. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 7

Jaipur – Delhi via Alwar

Around 9 am we leave the hotel to go to Delhi by road. On the way we stop to visit Alwar city that is located in the middle of Delhi and Jaipur. The city is known for its fort. After visiting, we continue the road to Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 8

Departure

According to the flight time, transfer to the airport from the Hotel.
